Magnificent seven piece red Boulle desk set comprising Ink Stand with two cut glass Boulle topped ink wells, Letter Scales marked S. Mordan & Co. London with original weights, Letter Opener, Pen Wiper, Blotter lined in water silk and inscribed Dec 18 1907, Stationary Chest lined in water silk and Picture Frame. Stamped on larger items J.C Vickery to The King & Queen Regent Street W. (i.e by Royal Appointment). Not my usual sort of buy but this is an exceptionally large set in near immaculate condition and I couldn't resist it. I think this set is about as good as it gets in size and condition. I will send further images of greater detail taken from any angle by email on request. The wood support stand for the picture frame is missing one piece at the top. The leather backing of the blotter has been renewed. There is some wear to silk inside Stationary Box.
