Description:

Unused boxed demonstration set of spark transmitter and morse key, coherer receiver with bells and buzzer, clockwork telegraph inker, four bichromate bottle batteries (one missing top and electrodes)and one Leclanché cell all with original packing material. All batteries unused, paper tape on inker unused etc.sold by George Carette, Nuremberg. Earliest 'logo' on lid used to 1898. instructions for the telegraph fixed to the inside of the box lid dated 16 September 1897. I wonder if there exists another example of a wireless 'kit' as early as this in the world, I personally doubt it, but if there is another what are the chances of it being unused? How rare is this? Carriage paid.
