Entomological microscope with a compound eyepiece that screws out for focusing at different levels. Early round glass side and glass bottom. The insect (in this instance) is scewered on a rotatable spike for viewing. Original lacquored brass. This is an attractive example in original condition and good working order probably early nineteenth century. Diameter 45 mm (1.8")height 72 mm (2.9") post free.
