A fine modern (about fifteen years old), singing bird box in enamel and gilt by Reuje of Switzerland of fine quality in perfect condition and working order.Operated by a pull button on the side the lid opens and the feathered bird flaps its wings and opens and shuts its beak, whilst singing a complicated simulated bird tune produced by miniature bellows and whistle contained with the mechanism enclosed in the base. This is a fine quality item.
