Pye television model D16T date 1946. There were very few British (or American) television sets manufactured in the year following the end of WWII so this television is rare. (So rare in fact that I've sold many more pre war TV sets than ones dating from 1946). There was some worm in the wooden case so I stripped out the chassis and treated it then repolished the case and replaced bits of missing veneer otherwise the set is as sold with the original unmodified electronics, knobs, casters, grill cloth and back.
