Description:

Fine table model anemometer in laquored brass and blacked brass with turned pillar legs and engraved silvered dial with FIVE sub dials recording up to 9,999,999. Engraved on base "Lowne's silver medal air meter". On/Off lever with sliding guard over the reset wheel. Excellent condition in original wood carrying case some scratches and wear, but most of the original lacquor is present. Signed on the dial J. Casartelli, Manchester (UK) circa 1890. Dial diameter 2.25" (58 mm) height 3.5" (85 mm) Price includes carriage to anywhere in the world ###Please note the white spots shown on the dial are ghosts(!)that appear only in the photo I have no idea why as they are invisible to the naked eye. I would retake the photo except that it is now night time and I don't trust myself to be efficient enough to take a new picture in the morning and remember to put it on this site!
