Description:

Equipment to demonstrate an electric light bulb consisting of a lacquored brass telescopic stand with a lead filled brass base and a circular brass ring with angular adjustment in which is mounted and early electric light bulb. Signed on the base Negretti & Zambra London extended height 13.1" (33.5 cm) base 3.8" (9.7 cm) This piece must date from the 1880s as there wouldn't have been much point in demonstrating a light bulb later. I used a six volt battery to illuminate it.
