Description:

Very rare and early Jackson type single focus X-Ray tube circa 1898 with a platinum anode. This together with its small size indicates that it is one of the very early X-ray tubes made soon after their commercial manufacture following Röntgen's discovery in 1895. Surviving X-ray tubes from this early period are extremely rare. 6" (15 cm) long 3" (7.7 cm) dia. We guarantee to ships this article safely to anywhere in the world. PLEASE QUOTE X-RAY TUBE No 6
