Description:

Fine scale model cannon made cast in bronze on a wood carriage with cast brass wheels, gears and fittings. Geared elevation operated from a horozontal wheel via a worm drive and working block brakes operated via a vertical wheel operating a screwed thread below the muzzel on the right hand side, detatchable wheels, bored cannon (3/10") with touch-hole. Breech block locked by rear 'screw' (sorry I don't know the technical name - casabel?) This is a very fine nineteenth century scale working model almost certainly capable of firing a cannonball (ball-bearing 3/10") using black powder lit from the Touch-hole on top. Length approximately 12" (see image against a one foot ruler). Further images high resolution or specific close-ups available on request. Delivery at cost
