Magnificent very early penknife almost certaoinly from the eighteenth century. Stamped "ARNOLD" and underneath A.NANVR with a small mark like an elongated spider. Twenty-one blades, one broken, (almost certainly a spike), plus a short screwdriver on the end. Handles made of ivory large blade locks and is released by pressing down on all the closed blades together. 6" long closed exceptionally thin for such a complex knife. This piece is of museum quality.
