Fine example of a spectacular pastry crimper made in brass with original patina, and turned wood handle, shown with background illustration of the same from "The Brass Book" by Peter, Nancy and Herbert Schiffer. They comment "the turnings on this unusual crimper are reminiscent of those on contemporary candlesticks. The quality and weight of this tool are better than average. English circa 1760
