Description:

A near mint Holmes pattern stereoscope stamper "Pat Oct 15-95" contained in original velvet lined box together with 78 stereo cards also in near mint condition, mostly depicting scenes from the Boar war. Holmes pattern stereoscopes are not rare but this is the first example I have ever seen in satin wood which makes it particularly attractive and unusual.
