Automata Duck	Autotomata Duck

Description:

Early twentieth century clockwork duck covered with a felt like material with metal feet. On winding the head nods and the duck's bill opens and shuts. Over the years I have had several of the automata animals made by Decamps but have never seen a duck before. I do not know if this is made also by Decamps but it is in his style. Condition generally excellent some small bits of paint missing from the feet. Good working order. Probably circa 1910
