Description:

Experimental English light bulb by George Lane Fox dated 15/3/82 (15 March 1882 for my US customers!)with other details on the paper strip fixed to the neck of the bulb. The glass envelope is sealed with plaster of Paris and evacuated from the side. It has a platinum filament. The bulb is closed circuit. Length 4.9" (126 mm) diameter of bulb 2.3" (59 mm)
