Nineteenth century Austrian (I think!) telegraph embosser. Signed but the name is too worn for me to decipher - those familiar with continental makers may be able to make it our. Serial number 278 which indicates an early example. Clockwork in good working order. 4.75" (12 cm) x 14.1" (36 cm) height 15.25" (38.5 cm)
