| Rotating Helix Electric Motor 1 |
|---|
The rotating wire frame was suggested by Francis Watkins in 1828. This is an early example obviously nineteenth century but I hesitate to put a date on it to the nearest decade. It could easilly be very earlyfrom the mid nineteenth century but equally it might be three decades later. Ninely made with brass levelling screws and other ajustments. Height 11" (28 cm) base 6.5" (16.5 cm) x 5.75" (14.5 cm)
