Description:

Gold plated pocket barometer/altimeter with compass, both with silvered dials, in fitted leather case lined with velvet and silk with compass aperture. The bezzel of the anaroid barometer can be turned and is marked off in units of one hundred feet. Used for balooning or when climbing mountains. (Set to zero at ground level with increasing height the pressure drops allowing the height gained to be read off on the outside ring. Very high quality piece in near mint condition. Diameter with case 55mm
