Please note that all prices include postage delivery and insurance against loss to anywhere in the world: - (1)Trephine with ebony handle and retractable centre perforator early nineteenth century £230 handle 100 mm wide, top to bottom with perforator retracted 120 mm (2) Bone saw with hinged spine signed Young, Edinburgh late nineteenth/early twentieth century £45 overall length 245 mm (3)Very large skull saw (I think! I haven't seen one as big as this before so if you know I am wrong please tell me). Ebony handle nineteenth century signed Atkinson £95 length 92 mm maximum width of blade 69 mm (4)Hey type skull saw signed Macleod with ebony handle. I think this is early nineteenth century. £95 length 184 mm blade length 14 mm (5) Finger saw signed Hilliard so cannot be later than 1850 £110 length 220 mm (6)Bone saw with hinged spine and ebony handle £115 probably mid nineteenth century length 216 mm blade length 109 mm (7) Fine saw with blunt tip and ebony handle for osteotomy. £65 Blade length 126 mm handle length 76 mm (8) SOLD Two Liston type amputation knives signed W.B. Hilliard & Sons, Glasgow circa 1850 note the tip of the longer knife is broken and there is a tiny 'chip' missing from the smaller knife near the end of the blade, both defects could be ground out without much difficulty or effort ebony handles £85 overall lengths 308 mm and 218 mm.
