Description:

Eight molecular models two by Leybold (German)and six by Crystal Structures Limited, (England). Lebold models: potassium hexachloride and potassium tetrachloride. Crystal Structures scales models: Wurtzite (ZnS), Rutile (TiO2), Fluorspar (CaF2), Beryllium (Be), Copper (Cu), Mercury (Hg). Some of the string bonds on the Leybold models are broken otherwise all are in good condition. The sizes vary from the largest Potassium hexachloride a cube of 15" (39 cm) down to Mercury 7" (18 cm) x 4.5" (11 cm) x 3.5" (9 cm). I am really not sure of their age but I feel certain that they pre-date my schooldays. My best guess is that are all from the first half of the twentieth century. Eight models in all.
