3" telescope by Dolland, London with a small sighting telescope and celestial and terrestrial attachments, vertical and horozontal racks the latter operated with a wood handled arm, all contained with spare lenses in a mahogany fitted box 45" x 9" x5.5" Cleaning date of 1833 scratched at the rear of the signed part so presumably the telescope manufacture pre-dates this by some years circa 1815. Dolland was Britain's pre-eminent maker of telescopes at this period. Most original lacquor present. Delivery at cost. Larger images emailed on request.
