Late nineteenth century Chatelier pyrometer by Duboscq of Paris. 12 Volt lamp, layout as illustrated in the sales catalogue (1908) of Ph. Pellin (sucesseur de Jules Duboscq). Height 13" (33 cm) with stand extended 19.5" (49 cm) width 16" (41 cm) x 13" (33 cm)Provenance: University of California. Condition some scratches but otherwise near perfect, brass lacquer intact.
