Unusual light bulb dated 28 11 94
Unusual early light bulb with the date on the glass 28 11 94. For my American readers this translates as 28 November 1894. In the UK the day is put before the date, so this confirms this bulb is of UK origin. Turned brass bayonet base filled with plaster of paris. The single filament is suspended at the top by a "finger" of glass with a loop of wire embedded in it. This is the only example I have seen of this shaped bulb from the 1890s. Length 14.5cm I guarantee to get bulbs intact to my buyers or will refund the purchase price. Postage is much cheaper if you buy more than one bulb
