Chinese Torture Paintings
Seven chinese hand painted pictures depicting various forms of torture, painted on paper,(rice paper), with tissue paper coverings. The pictures are in generally good condition with damage largely confined to the edges, but one has a (repaired), tear in part of the picture. I believe that these date from the nineteenth century.The sheets are a little over 16 inches by 13 inches
