German automaton clock late nineteenth century
This is my type of fun clock! A late nineteenth century German automaton clock in the form of a crudely made church tower with a large clock in the middle and a bell-tower on top. On the hour and the half hour the door opens to reveal a monk who moves his arms up and down pulling a rope which swings the bell in the bell-tower while the clock strikes a bell on the back of the movement 26" x 13" x 7.5" Part of top spire replaced. More detailed photos or other angles can be posted on request.
