Baird Television Constructor's Licence 1928
Rare Baird television Constructor's Licence No 1553 dated 29 February 1929. I believe that these licences were the world's first TV licences. They permitted construction of a television and reception for a period of two years to the licensee. This example has been trimmed slightly round the borders and the faded ink has been overwritten very carefully a long time ago- the overwriting has faded a bit too! In spite of these minor faults this is an important and desireable document and must represent one of the earliest TV licences in existence - try finding another!
